At Wearlo, we believe clothing and personal style choices should remain personal. We operate on a strict local-first and self-hosted computation architecture.
1. Zero Third-Party Paid AI API Transmission
When you upload a garment photo, background removal (rembg) and color extraction (colorthief / CIEDE2000) are executed exclusively on our self-hosted backend. Your images are never streamed, stored, or trained upon by third-party commercial LLM or vision providers.
2. Image Storage & Access Control
Garment photos are securely stored with signed, expiring URLs. Only your authenticated user account can access and query your digitized closet items.
3. Complete Data Ownership & Deletion
You retain 100% ownership over all uploaded garments and logged outfit records. You can modify, delete individual items, or delete your entire account with immediate purging of associated image assets.
4. Location & Weather Inquiries
Location coordinates provided for weather-adaptive suggestions are only used to fetch short-lived meteorological forecasts and are never monetized, tracked across ad networks, or sold.
